Meet Cathy Poston!
An exciting new service is being offered by Cathy Poston. Cathy is now teaching American Sign language classes at our Marlton office. Not only is sign language a second language, it is proven to help with reading and spelling skill development; auditory processing; improves retrieval abilities and enriches communication styles.
Children, teens and adults are welcomed. Sign I, an introductory class; Sign II, an intermediate class; and Sign III, an advance class are all available for enrollment.
Class Schedule:
Sign Language I: Beginners: Learn letters; numbers; basic signs; and your name; address and telephone number!
Class is held from 10:00am to 11:00am
Sign Language II: Intermediate: Application of fingerspelling and more conversational use of sign language practiced through song and basic communication.
Classes are held Saturdays from 11:00am to 12:00pm
Sign III: Advanced: Students will reinforce material learned from Sign I and II and begin to become fluent in conversational sign language.
Classes held on Saturdays from 12:00pm to 1:00pm
Classes are held in groups of ten. The first series begins April 5th and runs through June 14th for a total of ten classes.
Fee: $80.00 if registered by March 15th
